SNooPYjdm Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Ok so im about to purchase a b18b from a friend has about 130k on it been sitting for a while i plan on puting it in my 92 hatch so i got a couple questions....Since its been sitting for a while what are some things i should do maintenance wise? Now my z6 i have in there now is obd1 and so is the b18b so what all do i need to do the swap and will it be difficult or pretty straight forward? Any pointers on what to do to make things go smoother this would be my second swap i will be working with a friend who has done plenty of them...Also how much do you guys think i could get for my entire z6 motor runs good around 130k on it tranny is good but first gear is out all other ones work fine..all belts are good tune up like 2000 miles ago alway kept up on oil changes since ive had it will probably come with aftermarket megan header inless it will fit on the b18b which i doubt..will come with ecu pretty much everything sumone would need to swap it so what do yall think i could get for it? So really depends if people know what they're looking for and want to deal with ordering it online they could find a deal. Some local z6's I'd scene when I thought about putting a z6 back into my del sol usually ran from $400-$800ish in similar condition as yours just no header and probably no ecu, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
