BrIaN EG2
heres the story, sorry it might be kind of long.. well about a month ago my mom lost her job and my parents were in the middle of remodeling the house, so they finished the house with my mom being paid from the unemployment agency... well since then they havent been doing soo great financially. so my mom asked me if i could have my evo sold to help them out a little, so in being the great son that i am, i sold my evo to one of my friends and gave my parents the money through western union... now im carless... so yeah just when i thought things couldnt get worse, they just did... bye bye evo :( ::EDIT:: but there is ONE upside to it, i found a 2006 black Evo 9 MR for sale that im thinking about getting, it has 14,400 miles, no rust, $15,000 of mods, and he is only asking $33,500... ill post pics asap

Ben.
No shat. He'd have had so much markup to profit off of it.. Unless he paid off the loan and pulled another.

wannaBstuntin
Dude, I would seriously wait to buy a car until I can actually DRIVE it. So things like this don't happen. And instead, YOU can be the guy who buys a cheaper car that just depreciated on someone else. If you wait till you get home to buy a car, whatever you're looking for will be a little older and a little cheaper.

90IntegraC1
selling your car and giving the $ to your parents is honorable. buying a car with $15K of someone else's work done to it is not, that's beat. buy a stock RS or MR, not modded...won't get any respect. Oh im also looking at a set of TE's for the car that are GORGEOUS! would these look good on it?
SIR_VTEC
Hey man, just read your post, and you know what im in the same boat as you, but didnt have to sell my teg or nsx...thank god. But yea man im in the mortgage industry and business sucks now, so you can imagine how hard it is paying my bills as well as helping my mom out with her mortgage....man I can wait till this recession is over. Hey man you did the right thing to help out your parents, i would of done the same...now as far as buying another car...to me I think you really should wait until you feel its right to get a car, your still serving overseas right now? I think you should wait until you get back and go physically there to check the cars out, pictures can only show so much, physically being there and checking it out for yourself and not taking anyone elses word is the better option.
