Alright this is my first thread. My name is Preston and i own an 94' EG hatch with a B17. Anyways the other day i got it tuned at Abel Racing in Oklahoma City, OK and it make 150Whp and 110Tq with just I/H/E. After that it just felt quicker all the way around. But after a couple of days it started to feel a bit sluggish for some reason. If im just in first gear and keep it at about 4,000 Rpm and driving it bucks just slighty. I dont know what this could be. It sort of feels like something is closing the throttle body just slighty, Like the TPS or something like that. It idles perfect so i dont think it could be that.

Well last night, I pulled up in my garage and revved it up a lil bit. Then I shut it off. Well when i went to go start it again in like 5 mins it wouldnt start at all. So i started checking fuel lines and seeing if it was getting any spark, which it was getting both. So i thought it might have been flooded, so I took all the plugs out and cranked it over to clear it out. After i put the plugs back in, it started right up. The plugs are brand new NGK's.

This is actually my first Honda. I was a Nissan guy. I had a 91 300zx TT that made 420whp and 440tq on 15 psi and pump gas. So im still learning alot about Honda's. So I dont know if this has happend to anyone else. But any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

too rich it seems, did it reek of gas when you pulled the plugs? any deposits on the plugs themselves? soot in the exhaust?

i jsut dont see how it could b runnin rich when it just got tuned the other day. it was tuned with crome so i dont see how it could have changes without hookin up a rom editor to it.

Now that you mention about a fuel smell, I did smell fuel when i popped the hood. I was thinking a injector O-Ring was messed up or on of the fuel lines is messed up. I put the new plugs in about 3 days ago, and they were just a lil black. I looked in the exhaust, and i dont think there is soot in there, but i did see that looks to be oil in the exhaust or it could be water or coolant which wouldnt be to good. Its not overheating or anything.

But yesterday, my friend was behind me and he said when i got on it, it was smoking pretty good. He said it looked to have a blue tint to it, which would be oil. Im gonna do a compresion test and leakdown test on it tomorrow.
