CelticRacer
I need to remove the passenger interior door panel on my 94 del sol. i was wondering if anyone has any experience doing this and could give any words of wisdom etc... thanks in advance
airjordan223
yeah its pretty easy. theres a small screw where the door handle is. once you remove this, just slide the handle out. another one below it on the handle that you pull the door closed with (theres a round tab you pull out to get to it, and need a long screw driver for this). and then theres another one on the top left sort of where the door meets the fender. the rest are just tabs. alex37211
Once you get the regulator exposed, use a jumper pack with screw drivers or run a long wire from your car battery and one from a ground; Take the plug out from the window motor and power it directly to see if it works. Use extreme caution not to touch the wires together. This will be a very close quarters operation. Switching the wires around will change the direction of the window (up or down). If the window moves with direct power, it may be either your switch or possibly a fuse. I'm not sure if each regulator has its own fuse but I think it does. If your fuses are all good and your switch isn't the problem... then you've got a problem...a wiring problem. And those are a biatch to isolate. good luck
