Nancy
actually, i bought it off my friend back in september but i wanted to post the whole final product when i was done. 2003 jdm K20A ITR motor w/ IPS cams. here are some of the things i need to complete the swap- -rcrew header -hasport axles -karcepts shifter kit -wiring harness -ep3 radiator -k-pro ecu im also thinking of an sk2 cluster conversion but the converter parts (speedo/temp) are on three month back order but thats later on. i kinda wanna put it in my black ej6 but ive always liked the idea of k20 in a 5th gen civic. i was saving my money for a nikon d3 but just might use it to finish this up. so, what do you guys think? cranny
i think those 2 pictures are 100% of 2 different engines , lol. the top picture is of a 1st gen engine with powe steering in the belt pully system. also has hasport mounts on it. the second pic is of a 2ng gen engine , cause theres no power steering pump see. cause they have electric power steering pmps and an idler pully where the pump is on the 1st pic. also the newer gen engine , 2nd pic , has no AC pump in the belt system , the 1st pic does. cranny
your also gonna need a rad fan switch put inline of the bottom rad hose. you can buy the piece you need tp put inline of the rad hose and has threaded opening for the rad fan switch. and skip the ep3 rad , stay with whats in the car. you dont have the engine harness? the type r engines rock nancy youl love that (bitch) , lol. IPS K2's that things got in it or what?

IPS K2's that things got in it or what? yeah, i bought the engine with the K2's already in it. the guy i bought it from is building a K24 with a K20 head and is shooting for 2.7, he kept the kpro and harness. right now i have that little cheesedick stock civic radiator, is that sufficient enough for a k20? cranny
oh yeah you got a half rad right now dont ya. that might not do it , its not worth the risk , haha. id say put a full size integra rad in it since it will pretty much bolt in. alot easier to get a rad that will mount in the car and plumb lines where they gotta be nanc. lots of room between the intake manny and rad support on these swaps. K2's are sweet action , im so pissed you have them , hahaha. prolly eibach valvetrain in that head too than i bet. either that or s2k outers and type s inners(what IPS recommends if you dont run eibach). im glad your on , here lookie what i found: rcrew http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40610 kpro for good price http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36814 harness for the car(still need an engine harness) http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t...=wiring+harness this dude got a full harness , both pieces , charge and engine , deal him down although not a bad deal if all uncut http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t...=wiring+harness karcepts shifter moutning kit , nice kit too , bomb pice , 150 shipped nanc: http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t...arcepts+shifter sweet ass deal on hybrid axles on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hybrid-Raci...sspagenameZWDVW
Nancy
thanks cranny, i may contact that guy about the rcrew. i think i might just get a conversion harness from hasport to save the trouble, im really bad at wiring stuff. thats a good deal on the shifter kit too. are you part of that forum? Hatch92
those arent bad deals. how much of a pain is it to put into an EG chassis? now that they have come out with mounts and harnesses and stuff.

cranny
i havent read about too many bottom end problems with these engines. seem to be pretty tough that way. alot of dropped valves though.
