CleanGSR
Are you wanting it for looks? The V2 does not perform any better than the regular AEM intake and I've seen independent, controlled dyno testing proving that fact.

mynewcivicex
i heard the v2 adds performance throughout the whole rpm range. and the regular intake doesn't. is this not true?

mynewcivicex
i have another problem. i drove a ford torous before my civic. and the torous had a D for drive and my civic has D2 D3 and D4. i have been driving in d4 but my rpm's go way up when taking off from a stoplight. i don't know if this is bad or not. Like Hung said, there shouldn't be an increase in HP over a regular cold air intake or ram intake. Instead there should be an increase throughout the rpm range. Hung, did the dyno testing show this?
