AJN
I have a 93 Honda accord. The heater has been getting weaker and weaker over the last year. There is plenty of air coming out of the vents, but it's room temp at best. Consequently, my defroster is getting weaker too. Any ideas?
Hatch92
did you check the coolant? is the passenger side floor of the car wet? it sounds like it could be a heater core.

The passenger side floor is not wet. Is the heater core right behind the glove box? I think the coolant is fine....the level never drops.

AJN
yes the heater core is right behind the glove box. So if there are no leaks....is there a heater control valve or something that could be stuck shut?
Hatch92
that is possible to. the valve is usually vaccuum controlled and the hose may have come of it.
