Pyrorocketeer Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 for something that needs to be as precise as a turbo, I personally wouldn't look for a "no-name" brand. Cry only once. btw... this shouldn't be in the general discussion area.....
CleanGSR Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I think that turbo kit sucks. You should get it.
Pyrorocketeer Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I think that turbo kit sucks. come on hung, he specifically said: no crap talking.
CelticRacer Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Dont know too much about the turbo. i personally wouldnt buy mechanical parts off of ebay. but assuming that you decide to, the seller seems to have a hard time communicating and fixing mistakes. it could be a problem, just fyi. PS it looks like a normal Turbo to me, for what reason would it "suck"? just asking...
CleanGSR Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 The manifold will have crappy welds and will crack. The turbo is a no-name brand and there's been many cases with the turbo's actually falling apart....literally breaking in half between the turbine/compressor housings. It's a cheap kit (quality and price).

EH6TunerDaniel Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Also have a bad problem with blown seals on that turbo.
lceah Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I'm staying quiet because a mod said we are not supposed to bring up the other thread that the OP made a while ago
Hatch92 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Hell wait till spring and i'll buy my new welder and make you a mani and down pipe.... that is if i can learn how to make them. I'm pretty sure i can make one stronger than the e-bay ones.
