Hatch92 Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 i wouldn't run it persoanlly. you could get a d16 head from a junk yard for a little more than $50. the junk yard back home charged on average $80 for a head and it is pressure checked and hot tanked. Hatch92 Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 i don't think it'll work on a 91 hatch if it's comming from a 92+. the pre-92 used a different type of fuel injection and are OBD0 the head you are using is OBD1 so you will have to run some wires for a vtec solendoid and fuel injectors plus get ahold of a p28 ECU. Hatch92 Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 i'm from NY. the swap took me 8 hours to swap into my 92 hatch however i did have to make a parts run and lunch break so there is almost 2 hours wasted on that stuff so about 6 hours or so to do the swap.
