lude323 Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Hi Fellas, 98 Prelude owner here. Would like to remove the stock deck and put in one with MP3 and AUX jack. Nothing fancy. Just want to know where I can find out how to remove the dash to take out the deck. Is the OEM deck already DIN? At my local shop sells a Dash Kit so I'm not sure if it is needed. I'll be getting a Honday wire Harness for sure to make the wiring a bit easier. But are there any Honda Amps I need to worry about or will it just be plug and play?? Thanks guys. speedfreek09 Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 shouldn't be any amps, on honda's there is usually only two screws under the radio holding it in. its been about a year since i put a radio in a prelude so i cant remember the dash right of the top of my head. you should always use a dash kit if available and it should have instructions on how to remove the deck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
