odysseyman Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 Had body work done on passenger side of 2001 Odyssey EX. Now alarm resets after 30-40 seconds with double beep and lights flash. Alarm arms itself whether doors are opened or closed, locked or unlocked. Only way to avoid this is to quickly get engine running. Car alarm guy said the alarm is an after factory install and is Chapman brand, but couldn't find a serial or model number. Can't find manual anywhere online and only suggestion so far is to buy new alarm for $200. Bought the car used 5 yrs ago and leasing company I purchased it from has no manual or info for security system. Anyone know how to reset this thing.
