masonracing4912 Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 im building a crx for oval racing and was wondering if putting on a bigger throttle body would help me at all. motor is basicaly a stock A6 with header and light weight flywheel. someone told me to get one from a h22?? dont know much about hondas......any help would be appreciated. is anyone else running these for racecars?????? thanx! Pyrorocketeer Posted January 17, 2008 Share Posted January 17, 2008 if it is a stock engine, then it may help the top end a bit, but hurt low end torque. it would help the engine breathe easier at higher rpms, but lack the high intake velocity at low speeds which builds torque.
