drinkdkool8 Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 My 2003 Accord V6 EX-L has started making a strange noise that I can not seem to isolate. It only happens when the accelerator is about 1/4 down and I notice it more when on an incline. It sounds like a pie pan rattling. Like in older model cars when the metal top cover of the air filter is not screwed on tight. Another way to describe it is like a light stream of water hitting a metal cookie sheet. I don't notice any performance change, but the noise is making me paranoid. Does anyone have a guess?????
crxtacy Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Check the exhaust shields .Usually they make that annoying rattling noise.

drinkdkool8 Posted January 15, 2008 Author Posted January 15, 2008 Now that you all mention it. That is what it sounds like. I will check it out later today.
