Hatch92 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 ok a while back i swapped my old D16z6 into my car to move it around my garage without pushing it. Recently i've been pricing a GSR motor. So now here's my question i want everyones input. Buy the B18c or keep the D16z6 and boost it? Now keep in mind its going to be mildly driven on the streets and for the most part a track car.

TS John Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I mean, if you're gonna turbo them both I'd deffo go DOHC. If it's turbo the Z6 or swap the GSR engine I'd prolly still swap the GSR.

lceah Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 It's going to be a track car... D16z6 125 bhp @ 6600 and 106 lb-ft @ 5200 and boost B18C1 170 bhp @ 7600 and 128 lb-ft @ 6200 B18C1 in the hatch...beast!

Nancy Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 go gsr, dual cam vtecs are so more fun and easier to get power out of. but id build it all motor just cause im not a fan of boost.
