redneck999
Just bought a del sol 1.5 bone stock daily driver. Since I have had it it's had a fluctuating tach, a bit at idle but mostly going down the road. It moves 500-1000rpm's. Doesn't effect the idle at all its just irritating. Everything is plugged in at the cluster I had to remove it to replace some burnt bulbs. Only other things done was I replaced the cap, rotor and plugs thats about it. Any ideas as to what is causing this would be great!
1994turbodelsol
Hey on my 94 del sol i had the same problem, in my case it was the throttle position sensor. Hope this helps
wannaBstuntin
Is it just the tach that fluctuates or does it rev too?
Hatch92
he said it was jsut the tach so it's prolly a sensor.
95delsolboy
I had the exact same problem, and all it was was the sensor.
zimmy709
i had this issue with my msd setup on my del sol... i removed it and no more problem, however mine was actually messing with the car under higher boost.. hell it was a weird mess... no msd no more problem, msd has good stuff (loved it on my NA engine setup, just didnt cooperate with my turbo setup for some reason. like stated above... check sensors
