Seat problems

Recommended Posts

I got a set of racing seats for my 91 teg and want to know how to bypass the sensor that plugs into the bottom of the stock seats cause with it unplugged it constantly beaps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

rip it outta the stock seat and duct tape it to the bottom of the new ones.lol

not sure about that exact car, but usually it has 2 wires, if you just loop it it will send the signal back and problem is solved... it usually sends a 12v signal to the sensor in the female side of the seatbelt connection, then when they are put together it is like a switch sending 12v through the other wire back saying that the seatbelt is fastened.
