Wheels/Suspension Question

Recommended Posts

Ive been away for about 45,000 miles since ive posted anything here i guess and now i have a new question to ask you guys. I am having this strange problem as to when i get to 80 miles an hour. My car starts to rattle quite harshly and it really annoys me. My car is a 2005 Honda Civic w/stock everything. I changed the tires at 30,000 miles, but other than that nothing else. Now i figure that it could be that the tires aren't balanced or perhaps the shocks have gone down hill. I don't know. -What i do want to know is could it be the tires? should i change them again? perhaps the tires were not the best purchased!? then what brand? if the shocks are it, then would it be better to go after market?

all answer's welcome, thanks

ohh yea...and i just had an oil change 2 days ago where the tenant mentioned something about (draining my transmission oil) said it would cost me about a 100 bucks to do so...whats that all about? is this something i could do on my own or somewhere for a lot cheaper?
