DelSolFreak Posted October 26, 2007 Share Posted October 26, 2007 i have a b16a2 and when the engine is cold it revs at 2k. after it warms up it drops down to 1500. i check my trottle body for the 1st time since ive owned the car and i dont think it has a FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve)! there is only 1 port that bypasses the throttle plate! what could possibly be the prob? DelSolFreak Posted October 26, 2007 Author Share Posted October 26, 2007 well it didnt do it till about 3 months ago. oh and when i put am coming to a stop, i throw it in neutral and coast to the last and the engine revs up to 1500 then bout 5 secs after i stop the rpm drop back down to 700.
