i was playing around on the web and came across this forum and their is a boosted del sol with a small ass turbo set up.anyway i was looking at the guys pic of his car and it says d16 made to look like a b16.so its a d16 with a b series valve cover on it.i didnt think that it would fit. hears the link

my first guess is that since the b cover is larger he just got out a dremel and ground it down to make it fit over the top. anything else seems like it would really be a pointless waste of time.
