Jmpage84
Hey guys, I just recently moved to the Dallas area from Maryland and I haven't really had the need to drive my car lately since I don't know where anything is and my step-mom and I work for the same company in Downtown so I just ride with her to work. Lately, my rex hasn't been running right at all. I changed the spark plugs and replaced the fuel filter, hoping it would fix the problem. Unfortunately, it hasn't. From idle to about 2250 rpms, the car seems to have no power, but once it hits 2250, it runs like normal. Any help is much appreciated. Jmpage84
Would having it sit for a few weeks make it lose timing?
SiR REX
does it do it as soon as u start the car or does it start after its been running for a while?
Jmpage84
If I start it when the engine is cold, it runs normal, but once it warms up, it starts bogging.

89highfuelcrx
I'm having this same problem but its the other way around... I just bought my 89 crx and it runs...ok... up until 3200 rpm then it sounds like its misfiring or bogging and it wont go any faster.... any ideas on that???? I replaced the o2 sensor and checked plug wires and new plugs so far
Kegger
You are in safety mode. Bad dizzy most likely, borrow a working one from someone and see if that corrects it.
