Repsol
My throttle keeps getting stiff. Like it normally would have play in it, like it's soft. Now it'll go from the soft, then it will just like take a crap on me and it's like 7x harder to push in. Does anybody know what this problem would be? Repsol
Know of a way to take it off and clean it? Or just clean it while it's on there?
Kegger
Shoot some wd-40 on the bitch, it'll loosen up. Or scoot your floormats back a little bit. Edited July 22, 2007 by Kegger
Ben.
Don't feel bad bud. At least you can still drive yours.
TS John
While you're cleaning off your throttle cable tighten it up so it's not soft anymore. Nothing like a freshly tightened throttle cable to make your car feel like a brand new baby.
Repsol
Lol, I hate a stiff pedal. I'll try the WD40, thanks guys. Updates on if it works or not.
Repsol
Well. The WD-40 didn't work... :( I don't know what the problem is. It started like a day or 2 after I put my exhaust on. At first I thought it was because I didn't have an O2 sensor. I bought a new one, and it still has stiff. It always seems to be something. Why couldn't I get a sol like yours John? :( Edited July 23, 2007 by Repsol

SolMusic
WD-40 dries out in a matter of minutes, people always make that stupid idea that it lubes stuff up, but it doesnt, and can end up ruining stuff. Put some grease all the way down it, grease stays, WD-40 doesnt.
Repsol
Dang...Hope I didn't f*ck anything up. Thanks for the tip man.
SolMusic
nah you shouldnt have done, when i used to ride bmx n mountain bikes, all the kids used to spray wd40 on their bearings n hubs n stuff, it ended up messing them all up...easy mistake to make though. SolMusic
cant be that bad can it? just get a pro to check it out for you, half a day n it'll probably be running sweet. plus, no matter what car you get, your always gonna have little annoying problems with it, so you might as well have one that looks good! 90CRex
when ur throttle sticks, if u can put ur foot under the gas pedal and lift it and it stops sticking, check the metal thing on ur throttle bady that ur throttle cable wraps around. mine sticks sometimes on my civic

Repsol
I have so many things to fix in my car it's not even funny. :( New Glove box, new seats (rain is pretty much ruining them), weather stripping, mostly bullcrap that gets on your nerves. Does anybody else's back window rattle a little when it's down?
