cranny Posted July 12, 2007 Share Posted July 12, 2007 (edited) the blocks are the same mechanically , but different sensor wise. the sensor your referring to , im assuming its the CKF , crank fluctuation sensor , built into the oil pump , located next to crank on timing belt side. yes your 99 b16 oil pump will work on your new block. but some sensors are different on the block. nothing you cant work around with some reading and most likely lengthening a few wires to reach somewhere else.
