Honda_Road_Raptor
I have a question about a motor swap for a 90 crx sir. Can anyone tell me can you drop a Crv motor into a Crx I have heard talk about it but I want to know can it be done? And how hard would it be to do it? 90CRex
its just like any other b series swap. mounts, axles, wiring, ecu and ur done. gotta find a tranny from a 90-93 teg tho, unless u do a hydro conversion
Honda_Road_Raptor
No I'm not going for a hydro how hard would it be to find a 90-93 teg? Edited July 6, 2007 by Honda_Road_Raptor
90CRex
depends, check junkyards and stuff for the tranny, then theres always ebay. forgot you'll need shift linkage and a ecu in first reply. it'd b easier to put in a b18a1 since its obd0, no wiring headaches

Honda_Road_Raptor
H22 is like the biggest motor honda makes right? Would it fit into a crx?
90CRex
it'll fit but not painlessly like a b series would...gotta weld in mounts and stuff. plus h22s are heavy as hell...good power but wouldnt recommend
