Repsol
When I start my car up in the morning..it goes to about 2200 rpm for idle. Sometimes it'll go from that down to 1500 and back up. It will do it like 7 times in a row or just once. I'm pretty sure it's the IAC valve causing this. Anybody know where I can get a new one?

TS John
It's pretty normal for a car to idle high when you first start it, especially when it's cold. What does it settle down to, and after how long?
Repsol
like 5 seconds? it'll go up, then down, up then down, up then down, It's annoying. It hasn't been doing it much lately. *knocks on wood* It does it more when it's cold outside.
TS John
Yeah, if it's that brief it's prolly nothing to worry about. My last del sol did it and so did my rex. This one prolly does but I have only had it for a month so far so I dunno. When an engine first starts up it's not running exactly as it should, so it's generally a good idea to let it idle for about a minute anyway, at least when it's cold. Repsol
once it settles, it idles at like 700 rpm. So i'm guessing it's fine.

cranny
under your throttle body , theres an FITV. take the 2 8mm bolts or screws holding the cover on , than retighten the plastic flat head screw. done. no more bouncy idle.
