They outweigh the hatchbacks of those years which were around 3200/3300 pounds due to frame supports and whatnot. PLUS you're driving a torquless four-cylinder, and trust me..the turbo doesn't make up THAT much of the torque. Hmm. We're around the same weight, I'm POSITIVE I'm making more power than you and PRETTY confident that I'm making a lot more torque, too. Plus I've got six, long gears..pretty much a performance inspired car..whereas you, sir.. have what, four? Look, we can go tit-for tat all day but in terms of Mustang's and four cylinders, that 2.3 is only gonna go so far whereas the 5.7 LT1/LS1 can go do some serious crap. It's gonna take a LOT more money to make that 2.3 hit 520 whereas you can dump what, four thousand well invested dollars and you're banging on 600.
