Want to know how to remove the fuel filter on a civic 96 ex without relieving the whole fuel system and back seat removal to access the electrical connector thing...this procedure is long for me and want to know if it's necessary or do I really have to. Thanks in advance.

theres a screen , and leave it. crack the 10,, nut on top of fuel line to releve pressure. undo the 17mm nut holding fuel line from rail onto filter. undo the other side from the tank. undo the 10mm nut holding the filter into its cradle , and if you cant figure out the rest , take it to a mechanic for jesus sakes , haha.
