D16 possibly knocking

Well, my suspicions should be confirmed tomorrow, but I think my Z6 is knocking. This means I get to swap my B16A2 sooner! Heh, too bad I don't have any money. So luckily I live close to my work and can walk/bike while my car is down. Hopefully it's not a knock and something else. We'll see!

 

Hopefully B16 here I come soon! Oh, and I took some new pictures of my car the other night.

 

 

I really don't like the wheels, but they came with the car when I bough it, so meh. I'll be going bronze Mugen MF8's or Rota C8's at some point and time

 

Just wanted to vent frustration of my possible knock... I feel a bit better

i'll agree with you on the rims. may i suggest you slam it and put on some rota GT3's? you have to have a specific taste for that rim but i think it looks sweet.

 

also take pics in normal white light. not that crap yellow light that is there so people can see the stars better

I live close enough to work to walk -- so I'll probably be walking this next week. Sad thing is, all of my next paycheck is for bills and brakes/rotors for the civic. Haha.

 

A few questions about the swap.

I see it comes with mounts -- I've heard that the mounts will bolt right up in my EJ1, but I've also heard that they won't. Also, is the wiring going to be pretty easy, or what will be involved?

 

I've never done a swap, and I haven't been able to find a good walkthrough for doing a B16 into an EG/EJ, so if someone has one, that would be great.
