247christ
I have 1989 2.0 SI 4WS and started getting a power stearing leak near my resevoir a few months back (couldn't pinpoint it but it smothered my right side of my hood and that whole area by the resevoir with fluid. I just kept refilling it (the lowest the fluid would go was about a centimeter above the outlet hose on the bottom of the resevoir) and one day i noticed that i had an fluid puddle on top of my transmission and that it was now leaking from the main hose going from the top hose on the pump around the left and back of the engine into the cylinder (Covered with a heat wrap/hose thing which was the earea that the leak was at) and not near the resevoir anymore (that area was completely dry). It was leaking onto the plastic plug sensors and the 1 metal threaded sensor and dripping down those wires and onto the readiator hose outlet and onto the tranny. Soon after i noticed this my guage cluster, turn signals and clock stopped working (except the Speedometer) and there was a short somehwere (The turn signal fuse kept blowing) I suspect that these sensors were corroded by the fluid and shorting out....Any help would be appreciated and also if anyone has instructions or a diagram of that hose where it connects to the cylinder would also be appreciated (Can't find it in the service manual anywhere)
