CivGurl96
Hey guys, I have a 96 ex civic and I'm trying to figure something out. I know that the chasis for 96-00 are identical, and the only thing they did were switch the front bumper, taillights, hood, headlights and side fenders. I have all of if and I put it on my car, xcept now it doesn't fit exactly. The headlights are misaligned and all that. I'm worried now cuz it doesn't look great :( what should I do? Body shop? back to stock?
compuvision02
They should line up fine, you sure everything is "in place"?
Xeryon
Yea, most of those parts have either shims or mounting brackets that have variable adjustments to them. Sounds like you just need to tinker with the mounting bolts a little to get everything to align right. That is, if the reason you replaced all those items is because your car was in an accident, the mounting locations may have been bent/damaged in the accident and unless you do a little metal bending your replacement parts may never line up correctly.
