Short throw adapter on cable shift

Just a heads up to anyone with a short throw adapter on 5th gen ludes. i have the kind that is another bracket to mount the stock shifter into, my system rattled one of the set screws for it loose and it blocked the shifter from going into reverse. at first we thought I needed a trans, even had Cottman do their free "checkup" to check the linkage and everything on the outside of the trans. they said it was something internal, wanted $450 to drop and crack the casing on the trans to check the insides then. Luckily my friend, (PA state inspection mechanic) had encountered this before and saved me alot of money. only paid $60 for an hour of work taking center console apart and lock-tite -ing all the set screws on the adapter.
