simple. with its 1001 hp motor, it burns a 1.33 gallons of gas per minute. click so what, it can go over 250mph, but with gas prices these days, i dont want to have to afford it.

If you could afford the car then the cost of fuel is trivial.

not just gas prices guys. i imagine it doesnt have any bigger than a 20 gallon tank, which means filling up every 20 minutes if you have been pushing the car to its potential. come on, the car has 4 turbochargers! it gets 10mpg if you baby it.

maybe im just over-reacting because im used to going 120-150 miles on 3 gallons of gas with my bike.

umm, 10mpg if its idling

1001 hp = 1.33 gal a minute I don't know the math but it must be closer to 2-3 mpg when you are cruising at 60mph

That figure you quoted is under full throttle. Empties the tank in 12 minutes.

I'm sure that you wouldn't be refilling every 20 minutes. Can you imagine someone paying more than a million dollars for a vehicle and then being fine with the idea of refilling every 20 minutes?

Idle is 0 mpg for all cars :D

Watch the Top Gear episode(s) with the Veyron. Clarkson says a whole bunch of crazy stats, like how it has 9 radiators.
