brynfiv
I've heard K-series and most newer ECU's are coded to ignition key. How do you get around this (especially on one from Japan)?
Scourge
If you have K-Pro from Hondata, you can disable the immobilizer. It's just a modified, ECU that is made programmable via USB. I believe the other option is to take some transponder from your steering column? I'd just go the easy route and disable it. Unless theft is a problem in your area. cranny
if you buy a JDM swap , it has no immobiliser. if your using a USDM swap , you can take the ecu to honda and have it reflashed for a different key. as long as its not stolen , lol.
