civicplaya20 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Ok I did a search about CAI and the air bypass valve, I bought a AEM cai and it didn't come with a bypass valve. On their website though it says it either comes installed or in the box. I'm wonderin if I didn't get it by chance. I know what they look like, but has anyone on here ever heard of them being put in the intake internally?
Kegger Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Um... to have them come installed you have to buy one as well as the intake. And no, an internal bypass would negate the point of the bypass valve.
Ben. Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 You're a little confused, eh? Like Butters? A LITTLE BI-CURIOUS?

civicplaya20 Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 Here is another thing. I purchased a short ram intake, and they sent me a cold air. Now another thing I want to know is the company sent me a 92-95 civic intake, will it still fit my 97?
civicplaya20 Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 Cool. Thanks, but this one says it comes with a hose for the water bypass... Not sure if that's the way it should have been but that's what it says in the packing instructions
