that and if it's hot out you will have higher pressure in your tank, to help you not get fuel all over the place first remove your gas cap this will relieve any excess pressure in the tank it's self, then your lines will still have pressure in them when you go to disconnect them. wrap a rag around the line and banjo bolt as you loosen it, this will prevent you from spraying gas in your car/eyes. wherever you don't want it to go.
