I will do my best to explain Basically my cars whenever it is reved above 3000 rpms the needle starts to jump around and it acts as if it would be slipping, the engine doesnt even acknowlege the throttle, i will be cruising at 60mph throw it in 5th give it a little more gas, and the needle jumps around and it will just keep on doing it untill i give it less gas, although it does speed up, but it takes awhile. can anyone help. Blizzard Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Could be an alternator/battery issue, too. I had a psycho Accord that would start operating the automatic seatbelts while I was driving. kgod86 Posted May 15, 2007 Author Share Posted May 15, 2007 Ok so today i found my problem, i took off the dis cap and there were a bunch on metal files that somehow got in there, looks like the rotor is about done, but for the time being i removed all the corosion and filing from the cap and its working very well now!! need to go get a new cap and rotor sometime today.
