Now i know it will be down to opinon, but i would just like to know which is lighter, has more tunning opportunities etc. So yea any suggestions and that will be great.

thanks.

yea i spose practicality is a good point but eventually i would strip the interior ( if i go with the civic) and put a cage in the back, actually i think i am going to get the civic just because they look super sweet with the jdm style. there are also two more things i would like to ask,

(1) bit of a noob question but here we go, i have seen loads of civics with 350+ whp but its pointless because they lose so much power when the wheels just spin, i have read that with a good suspension setup it will all be ok, if this is true can anyone give me a ruff suspension setup (street only) will a limited slip diff also help, asi am lookin for big power gains.

(2) another noob question lol , right i have recently moved to canada from the U.K, and i was shocked as i have never seen so much snow in my life, so is there any chance of making the civic a 4wd car so i can have as much fun in the winter as the summer.

thanks again!

1. the l.s.d. is always a good thing for gettin the power to the ground

2. that is waaaaaaaaaay to much fab work it could prolly be done with enough money but in my eye's not worth it.

You don't really need 4WD to drive in the snow. A FWD car and some driver skill is more than enough.

Yeah, but it's soooo much more fun.

I've heard you can do a B20 CRV swap for 4-5 grand, with a decent amount of fabrication. It's not TOO difficult with the right tools and knowing how to use them.

Should be cheaper than that.

He wants the whole drivetrain to make it AWD. It's not gonna get any cheaper than that. And it will cost a hell of a lot more in fab.

If he's looking for the drivetrain too, then yea. I thought we'd already convinced him that AWD wasn't worth it? If you want AWD find a 4th gen Civic wagon.

I'd get the Del Sol. It'd be nice to cruise in with all 3 windows down along with the roof off.

lol...

I would go with hatch...

not worth changing...look for a car already AWD...

with so much snow...gotta worry about rusting...
