yeah it seems the engine dies about every 3-4 seconds. i lose all power in the motor for just a second. but as soon as i turn off the a/c. my cars fine.

so when u have your ac on your engine has less balls? go figure. ac is added stress on the system, some thing else for the motor to turn so your goann feel the power loss.

a/c is overcharged.too much refrigerant would cut the engine.try hooking up the a/c gauge .bet the pressure is way over .

LOW SIDE : 15-30 PSI

HIGH SIDE : 175-200 PSI

depends on how hot the weather is there.

This is a definite possibility. Could also be a clogged/stuck expansion valve. I've had this happen twice (at least I think that's the current problem).

I agree on the gauge, although read the low side first. It should stay pretty constant. If the pressure builds, you've probably got a clog in the system. Mine keeps cycling the compressor every few seconds as the pressure builds and kills one of the pressure switches.
