lceah Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 my schedule is in the "My productive weekend. " thread... didn't really celebrate cinco de mayo...it was more like Gringo Day! lol this is so not politically correct...oh well!

TLontheDL Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 4th of may: work and had a "cinco de mayo' feast at work. they had a mariachi band, mexican food, games, singing, and raffle drawings 5th of may: watch our team get our ass kicked - rockets :(
compuvision02 Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 My Cinco de Mayo consisted of: 2 Jager Bombs, 4 Miller Lites, 2 Jim Morrisons, and 1 Jello Shot in a hour, then watched Mayweather versus De la Hoya, at the bar. Then as the fight ended my friend got carried out of the bar via a bouncer. Haha.
mycarsux Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Amanda Colston?? I figured you wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, dan. I agree she's hot but still. I saw August Burns Red on thursday Best show I've ever seen. They played their new song too, it was freakin awesome. I can see TDWP not being good live. They're style would be hard to re-create for a good live show.
CRG7 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Usual Friday routine, then hit up Target, came home and went to my boyfriend's. Saturday, Bamboozle... got in there a little after 2:00 PM... checked out a couple minutes of Paramore's set, walked away and wandered about the grounds for a while. Headed over to catch Bayside, but turns out I wrote the time down wrong and it was Silverstein so we wandered some more. Met up with a friend and a couple of people he was with (other friend's of my bf's). Killed time, headed to catch some Cartel to kill some time. Packed like sardines, so I got out of there, which was for the best since our friend got kicked in the head in there (during friggin CARTEL, jeez). Caught a few minutes of The Starting Line, then headed off to do god-knows-where, maybe the stadium or something. Caught New Found's set around 6:30, then some Saves the Day after that (7:05). Didn't catch the whole STD set, but I was glad to hear some older songs in there, since they only played like one older song last year on it. Sat around in the back when Hellogoodbye played after that (7:40), caught some of Muse's set after that, then headed over to wait for MCR. Stayed for all but one of MCR's "The Black Parade" portion, then cut out. We just saw them in February so no big deal. Sunday, more Bamboozle. Met up with our friend's outside the gate. Had to be there for opening, got in by the second song in Brand New's set (anyone catch the first song? since I missed it, I'm hoping they didn't open with sic transit gloria like they did the last time i saw them... or tommy gun since they didn't play it and they closed with it last time). Maybe 15-20 feet from the front when some idiots had to start up a circle pit behind us, so I had to get out of there after that and head to the back so I could breathe again. Way to start off the day, bleh. Relaxed and wandered about for a while, caught most of FFTL's set. After more relaxin (we were all beat from Saturday, lol), headed over and caught some random band on one of the smaller stages. Our friend had met some random girl earlier in the day and she told him to check them out, headed to the stadium with them, where we ended up ditching the girl (she was beastly, lol). Wanted to see RX Bandits, but we ended up by Red Jumpsuit instead. Wandered some more, caught a couple minutes of Hawthorne Heights, met back up with our friends, laid in the bubble for a few. Ended up missing Jack's Mannequinn, and headed over to wait for TBS. We were fairly close, in the center, but I didn't want a repeat of last year so my bf and I ended up off to the side somewhere in the middle. Was okay, except that everyone who was going in or coming out of the crowd felt it necessary to pass in front of us and those in front of us, so every time I was able to see anything, we'd all have to move around and some tall(er) kid, or some kid's bushy hair would be in my view. Headed out after TBS. Still sore from the weekend. Was going to go in the hot tub to solve that problem, but it would hurt too much to lift my legs over from the steps into the tub lol. Oooh, didn't realize I typed so much HAHA.
