to put ABS in the S it's gonna take alot ot time to wire the sensors and to pin the ECU. there's more to it then just puttin ABS brakes and now you have ABS.

you'll need ECU with ABS, sensors, wireing diagram and wires, then you have to buy the brakes, axles, etc.

new axles because most ABS systems run on either the notches cut in the wheel bearing or the axles has the notches. they tell the ecu when the tire is locked up and when to engage the ABS.

No need for it, plus you really can't feel the brakes when the pedal is pulsing at you. Theres no real response that REAL drivers look for. LOL

Other than the motor difference, it's retarded.

I bought the S because I don't care about Cruise Control, disc brakes in the rear, the wing, or the rear sway bar. Not all SI's have ABS though, or PDL's. My buddy has one, and it sure as hell doesn't have it.

I have a rear sway bar from an SI I will sell you.

You should jump on that OP. You will notice a major difference in handling. Very simple to install too. All you need is the sway bar, endlinks, and lcr's. You should also look into purchasing a rear beam brace for the front, vast improvement.

Rear beam brace for the front? WTF?

If you're going to get a sway, get the 22 or 23mm ITR sway with ASR subframe brace.

Ya, a rear beam brace for the front. Do some research, genius. Maybe you should just ask your dad, he should know. From your pics it looks like he is the one who did your tranny swap.

P.S. I knew I shouldn't have clicked that button that says view ignored users post.

Nope you've got all of it. But just swap the motor nobody needs any of that extra crap, it just adds weight.

yea exactly what he said... and if you are swapping, put something like a b series in, it's pretty much the same amount of work and you will be much happier, i pulled my d16z6 out.. its really not worth putting one in unless you wanna do a d series boost monster or something silly <------ :D
