The LB Snow Man
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/car/318686704.html is this car worth it?
CleanGSR
Well, it depends what it's lowered on, and what brand of header and exhaust. Overall, looks like a decent deal though.

The LB Snow Man
haha dude how much money do you owe on it? and plus ur like 2000 miles away. Also im trying to call the guy to figure out all the brands he has on the car
CleanGSR
I don't know for sure.....probably 11k. Maybe a little less. Bought it for 12k less than a year ago with 51k miles on it. I'm throwing on miles so fast though that it's depreciating faster than I'm paying it off.

mycarsux
You can find a GSR waayy cheaper than that. My friend Brian got one for $5k I think. Its falling apart on him but still.
CleanGSR
Good argument......"you can get one cheaper.......it will fall apart on you, but still....cheaper". Lol.
lceah
kbb.com to check prices but this is the GS-R...so it doesn't apply!! hehe... the ad guy is asking "firm" on it but if you find out the brands for the mods then maybe it is possible to talk him down...?? EDIT: it does have the price but it still doesn't apply cuz the GSR is rare and wanted
mycarsux
Haha, yeah. It wasn't really an argument. It was just insight. My point is that you can find a GSR for $5k. The fact that Brian's has some problem may or may not be applicable to all GSR's.
zimmy709
hell, my buddy bought a '91 Turbo dsm (i think a laser) in next to neer mint condition for $1800 slapped my old flat black painted mille meglia mm11-2 17's on it and traded it for a gsr that was mechanically in great shape, just rusty, however hes a jackass and sold it for next to nothing after he jacked it all up. he knows nothing about cars, and should never be neer tools to work on cars. And the moral of the story is... hell I dont think i even have a point i just realized... i guess this thread just reminded me of his fortune with a great GSR, or it WAS now its a misfortune i supose
