Rebuilt engine running extremely rich, need help

Hi everyone,

 

Been a while since I posted, but I'm about stumped. I rebuilt the engine in my 89 CRX HF, and now its really hard to start and running extremely rich.

 

The timing is ok, and the valves were just adjusted. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the cam gear is off a tooth?

 

Let me know if you guys have any hints.

 

Oh the ECU is flasing a coolant temp sensor light. Could this be related?

change the coolant temp.that will cause a hard start.
