compuvision02
I know you can convert manual windows to power, but I am not exactly sure what you need, can someone help me with a list of what I need? I know I need the EX door panels and the window motor. Also, I don't know anyone who has done power locks converion, anyone know if you can? If so, what do you need? HatchTuner88
I know you can convert manual windows to power, but I am not exactly sure what you need, can someone help me with a list of what I need? I know I need the EX door panels and the window motor. Also, I don't know anyone who has done power locks converion, anyone know if you can? If so, what do you need? You actually do not need a new door pannel.. You can use your factory pannel. If you just google search universal power windows you will find several diffrent kits. I have been looking in to adding some on my Civic. You would just need a motor and regulator.. There are several diffrent types of kits. the cheapest one just use your exsiting hardware.. The only advantage of getting a new door panel is that you would have a window switch instead of the crank.. But if you stay with your orginal panels you can install the switchs else where. As far as door locks if you are looking at getting a car alarm you can have lock actutators installed with the alarm so that you can have keyless entry. I work at a stereo shop where we do this all the time. For the most part you can only lock or unlock with the remote to the alarm but again you could run a switch to these if you just wanted power locks with out an alarm..... Hope this helps... compuvision02
Thanks for the help. I personally would rather have OEM power windows. I am getting an alarm system next Thursday.
Humphries
many people that i talk to that have done it say they would have rather spent the extra money and bought the Auto EX doors instead of the hassle of getting between the damn door skin.

SolLesHonda
I have PDL's. You can buy an actuator for 30 bucks per door. Or you can PM me $21 and I can get you both of them.
