EH6TunerDaniel
My cruise hasnt worked for a while. I read Hung's thread from a while back, but my problem is not the same as his. The fuses are good, I have 2 switches to turn on the cruise, one to push to turn the system on, and one to set it. The light on the switch to turn the system on does not come on....Any Ideas. TrailMystic
Glad this thread was started because my cruise control on my one month old sol doesn't work either. Same situation - switch to turn it on doesn't illuminate. If it has the swtich, I assume it has cruise control. Pete

redcoats1976
most interstates have a 70 mph limit, but plenty of people cruise around 90 or so.
EH6TunerDaniel
I have a 70 mph drive for an hour to and from school each day. It is heavily patroled and hard to keep from speeding.
cranny
hard to say EH , im sure you downloaded your manual by now , see if theres a trouble shooting process for testing your cruise control unit itself. maybe its toast. have you ever disturbed it? should be a black box mounted under your hood with a throttle cable basically comming from it and going into your firewall usually. EH6TunerDaniel
I downloaded the manual and found the circuit. It goes through toooooooo much crapt. It stopped working when my brake lights were stuck on, and I had to turn the sensor that tells if the lights are pressed....Im not sure if that messed with it, but I would think the light on the switch itself would still come on if that was the case... cranny
perhaps not though , look when you install a deck into some cars , the interior lights go out cause the wiring for the interior lights goes through the deck , lol.
