xalexjx@yahoo.com
d16 is a strait forward swap, h22 needs new mounts i would get custom axle shafts, wiring and a few other things, h22 is harder but it will have more torqe then the d16, they both have lots of potential http://www.hondaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=13646

Kicksome123
Its all on what you can do on the longrun and how much money your willing to spend... 1. the D16 is a direct drop in and you can do a junkyard turbo set-up and it will be as quick if not quicker than the H22 2. Get the H22 do a crapload more work and then buy some upgrades on that motor.
xalexjx@yahoo.com
also has a lot to do with experience to, if you've never done an engine swap dont do an h22, go for the d16, if you have some true automotive experience and have worked on a few hondas by all means go for the h22a, has a lot more long term potential
compuvision02
I'm a little confused by the post, I'm hoping this is just a mis-post and it is supposed to be B16A vs H22A. Either way, I would go for H22A only, and only if, you know what you are doing or are paying someone who knows what they are doing. H-Series swaps involve some cutting to make the transmission fit; that is the minimum, I don't know everything about H-Series swaps, but that's what I know. I wouldn't go H-Series over B-Series anyways. The guy who put in my motor, amazing Honda technician and used to work at a shop were all he did was swaps, won't do H-Series swaps. I asked him and he said he wouldn't do it, go B-Series. Says a lot when someone who knows what they are doing inside and out, drives and built his 500+whp EH2, and does this for a living and won't do it. xalexjx@yahoo.com
thats because theyre a pain in the ass, everything is a lot tighter when doing an h22, i did a replacement h22 on an older prelude a few weeks ago for a friend, it wasnt too bad, we pulled the old in 3-4 hours and had the new one in in a day, just theres no room to do anything, i think b-series would be the way to go over h22, with a h22 your going to need to go to stiffer springs to fix the under steer, wire, and end up paying a lot more out of the pocket to have it swapped, d-series is almost pointless imho save you money for a better swap
cranny
after working on H22's a little in preludes , i would not recommend an H22 swap to anyone that has a civic or integra , lol. im not saying they dont fit cause obviously they do , but your getting into a headache. 93eg-rturbo
go with the h2b that way you won't have any cutting to the engine bay. Only mods would be shifter and wire harness. If you got the money then that' the way to go. Do some research. B16's or even D16's are week as hell for just the stock motor alone. If you want gas saver then it's all you.
