So yeah I posted about the camero about a week or so ago, well the guy never called me back. I sent him like 3 emails and he never got back to me.. Oh well I said F that and kept looking. I found an 02 Toyota Celica GT-S for 11500. I'm pretty sure I can talk to guy down to 10 even just because it has 86k in mileage... Wanted to know your guy's opinion.. So let me know if ya can

See at first I didn't really like the idea of it. But the more I think about it and the more I read about it I like the idea.. I have never really looked at toyota's but they seem like the have good motors to build on

Well when I compare it to what I have had it's gonna be an upgrade. Coming from 140 or so horsepower to 180 horsepower will be quite nice. And when I add things on like intake, exhaust, and if I get to it a supercharger, I will be able to have a lot of fun

Try 15's, Celica's aren't as shabby as people make them out to be.

And, not everyone wants to chance buying a factory f/i car. They don't last long at all and if you're sort've absent minded and don't maintain them better than you would an N/A car, it's over.

Sounds like he doesn't bring it over 2500rpm, at all.

Either way, I don't believe that due to the fact that most water pumps on most cars don't last that long.

But it's the internet, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

I'd keep looking dude, hopefully whatever you get you dont regret. Personally I dont like celicas, but I'm not you. But Factory Turbos are easier to hook up than non-turbos. Think about it the stuff is already there. Ultimatly your call though, sucks about the camero though.

Ok so I was able to check out the car yesterday.. It was clean all the way through. It's a 2002 silver celica. 6 speed trans, stock rims, cooper z rated tired. Has 86k miles and a kaminari (sp) body kit. The body kit on it is clean too, I mean it's not extremely crazy looking. Perfect black leather interior and when I drove it not only was it quick as hell but there weren't any bumps or pulling or anything. I think I am going to get it.... Now I gotta wait for the bank to move their ass on the loan

1zz-fe is in the GT. GTS has a 2zz-ge I believe. The GTS is about as quick stock for stock as a GSR. They take fairly well to boost too. I've never been crazy about the looks, but they're good running reliable cars so I say go for it.

Haha, if this was a F-Body forum, you would have been hung.

Camaro, not Camero.

Luckily, it is a Honda forum.
