brynfiv Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 My low beams just went out on my 98CX. Not getting voltage to headlight terminals. Anybody had this problem?
Blizzard Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Sounds like a relay, probably. If that's not it, it's probably a bad wire somewhere. Those are pretty tricky to track down.
Ben. Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 Relay. And, they aren't too hard to track down. Just test your headlight wiring for continuity..That'll tell you if there's a burnt wire.. But, probably something as simple as the relay that's been mentioned several times.

This one made me feel dumb. Low beam coils were burnt out on both bulbs. 8 month old Sylvania silver stars to be exact. Traced all wing down before finding out though. 96-00 Civics do no have headlight relays. Power feeds through the light switch/dimmer switch to low and high beam fuses in the under dash fuse box for each sides low and high beams and straight to the lights from there. All current draws through column switch.
