Heracles Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Its a 2000 accord V6 coupe. has 80K miles... loaded, leather, moonroof , cd changer- they want $9000. He never changed the timing belt- is it required at tha tmileage? Thanks for any info.
airjordan223 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 i havnt priced newer accords so i wouldnt know, but yeah the timing belt should be replaced soon
Chris 32 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I paid less than that for my 99 with 45k miles on it.. i knew the guy though.. plus no leather. That may help...
airjordan223 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 looks good. im guessing its a private seller and not a dealer edit: i did some looking around and 9000 seems like a pretty fair price for that model and mileage. if it was taken care of, which it looks like, i would get it. if it is a private seller, you may be able to get it down a little bit
CleanGSR Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 That looks good. I like the lip kit a lot.
Ben. Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 All that Accord is missing is rims. It's already lookin' pretty good.
Chris 32 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Yeah that coupe does look really good.. i say do it
2005AccorD Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Yeah that coupe does look really good.. i say do it
Heracles Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Its home. Here are some more pics... The timing belt service was never done, and it has 80K miles..should I have it done?? Do they need this service?
Heracles Posted February 25, 2007 Author Posted February 25, 2007 Looks awesome. Congrats on the purchase. Only thing- They had the speedo problem that froze- had it serviced at the honda dealer, they put in a new cluster, the mileage when it was changed is in the door panel, at 55K miles, and the speedo reads 25K miles... Would this of detered you from buying it???? It kinda almost did for me..
Buddy Cole Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 not really for me if it was done through the dealership. the timing belt needs to be changed around the 90K-100K mile marks.
CleanGSR Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Yeah, if it was done with dealershihp records, I wouldn't be concerned. I would be concerned if it was done wihtout documentation though.
SolLesHonda Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 Looks great. Drop it a little bit and it would be gangsta!
