AcesFullof10s Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Ok... hopefully this works. Here's a few pics of the '94 I got a couple weeks ago... It's got a few comsetic blemishes on it, but it runs great. Already replaced the headlights with some 1 piece assemblies, and added a 6000K HID kit. Facia off. Everything back on! I do have a few general questions, if someone would be so kind.... 1. The car just says "del sol" on the back. No S, SI, or VTEC. My insurance company brought the car up by the VIN, and it shows up as an SI. It has a VTEC motor. WHAT IS IT??? Also, what is the name of this color green? Thanks everyone!
AcesFullof10s Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 Oh, and does anyone know where I can get one of the wheel caps that I'm missing on my rear wheel? ...besides the $50 dealer replacement? Thanks!
airjordan223 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 your car is an si, it has a sohc vtec. the s model didnt come with vtec. also the color is called samba green. where did you get the HID's from and how much did they cost? im looking to get some. also post up some pics of them on a wall or something
coolcat467 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Nice car man. The engine bay looks pristine.
AcesFullof10s Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 Got the HID's off of Ebay. Here's the link.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-9003-Hi-...1QQcmdZViewItem It's the Bi-Xenon kit, which allows you to have HID high beams as well as low beams. I'll get some pics up against a wall soon.... This guy selling the HID kits is great... I ordered them on Thurs, and they were here Sat morning. $189 w/free shipping... great deal. The HID's in my Z were over $300!! (dang it!)
AcesFullof10s Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 Yeah, the engine bay is really clean. Anyone got any tips something to do with the valve cover? Maybe polishing or powdercoating?
coolcat467 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Most people just sand it then powdercoat it. I don't think I've seen anyone polish it.
90IntegraC1 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 watch out for the curb! i spray painted my LS VC w/ high temp ceramic paint.....looks good to me!
Ben. Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Love the color, not a fan of Midori green..but that one's MUCH better.

Ben. Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Midori green is the green that came on 96/00 ej6 hatchbacks. It's a common color..it's just not an EXTREMELY common color. Car obviously isn't stock.
