IL3GL'88 Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 so i just got a neglegant driving ticket, The stupid cop said he radared me going 100mph but get this i was in third gear and just got onto the highway. thats some bs but i have no idea how to go about it in court cuz i know i was not going nearly that fast. i wasnt even going over the speed limit but the real reason i know he pulled me over is cuz when i got onto the high way, i gunned it to get up to speed quick and then started to let off but i switched lanes (i admit a little fast) and the car i got behind slammed on there brakes and flipped a u turn so i had to cut off the guy i just passed in order to not hit him. all the cop saw was me go in beetween the two cars then he flipped a bitch and supposedly radared me at 100. i asked if it was still on his radar gun and he then changed his story to, "oh well i had to go 100 hundred to catch up with u". i know that part isnt even true cuz the minute i saw him flip around, he was going the other way btw, i slowed down and saw him turn on his lights and that was like a mile down the road but i knew he was pulling me over so i just pulled over and waited for him. this is such bs. what should i do. sorry for the long post.

TLontheDL Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 believe it or not, the judge will believe his story over yours. Its a no win situation when cops bs on their ticket. Just go to court and plead guilty and take defensive driving.

Dunno how they claimed they saw me with no seatbelt when they "couldn't see me through the tint that was too dark." Lmfao. Then the two speeding tickets. THEN the two warnings for speeding. God I'm great.

So far i have accumulated 2 inadequate exaust,1 cell phone, 1 no seat belt , 1 upm (unlawful possesion of marijuana), 1 85 in a 65, and im sure theres more that just what i have on my desk right now
