help nancy decide

ive narrowed it down to 2 choices. ive found another ITR with low miles, never modded, all oem stock or a evo VIII with around 37,000 miles with the basic mods. both are beautiful cars and im having trouble deciding. i want the itr because im familiar with it and i have parts for it already from my old itr but i kinda want the evo cause its fast as hell and it actually has torque unlike all hondas ive experiecned. these are the actual cars i went to go see and test drive. help me decide, thanks guys.

and other reasons. if it was a 2001 and was the dc5 id almost say its worth it but id go for the evo.

damn that itr almost seems too good to be true. but im almost thinking get the evo for something new. it seems kinda weird that you just sold an itr, and like a month later youre buying another one. i forget what other cars you have but the 4dr might be nice for that little guy and his recaro seat as well

I have to say the EVO. Torque and the 4 doors for hauling your boy around will be nice. Plus that EVO in white looks great. Oh, and let's not forget AWD launches.

I'd say the evo. You only get to buy so many cars in your life. Might as well make them different.

 

Of course, here I am saying that, about to sell my sol so I can buy another one. Oh well.

But then again you just sold your ITR, so whats the point of getting another car that you've already had...i could understand if you had a LS or GSR before, but its your choice .... But I would stick with the ITR..thats my two cents @^_^@

no sir. the earlier model evos (like 03-04) had tranny problems..the synchros would go. problem fixed. plus, new car = warranty. wont have to pay a dime for it

 

 

honestly nancy, the two cars you listed arent comparable. i like ITR's, but would never take it over an evo. plus, you had one already.

what was the reason for getting rid of the itr? i'm sure you miss it, but i don't see why you'd buy another after you just sold one.

 

might as well hold off a little longer until you're sure of what you want.

i needed to pay off a lot of debt, since my itr was paid off, i used the money from that to pay off all my debt. now that im out of the hole i wouldnt mind financing a car and have that being my only monthly payment. one payment per month is better than like the six payments i had to make to other things before. yeah, i miss it and im trying hard not to think about it. imo, an itr is the best honda/acura you can get besides an nsx, so i guess im stuck in that mindset of itr or nothing if i were to buy another honda. but when i test drove the evo, it was a whole new experience. ive never been in a honda that pulled half as hard as that evo. i dunno, i guess im not used to torquey cars, ha ha.

Obviously too late now, but I would have thought you could re-finance or finance your other ITR to get the money you needed.

 

Anyway, past aside, I'd say STI over an EVO anyday.

Geez. I feel bad for ya kiddo. I'm having a hard time thinking about that decision. The ITR looks real clean, but then the Evo looks clean. 2 door? 4 door? i need to quit stressing over this before i loose whatever hair i have left. Flip a coin...
